Ever since its initial uses in 1980, Botox has been touted as the only permanent solution to ridding your skin of those annoying wrinkles, and not surprisingly, all other products are simply considered an “alternative to Botox.” Jumping on the Bandwagon marketing, TYK Revelation is yet another eye cream that claims to be a safe alternative to the popular injection, supposedly providing anti-aging results without the expense or the additional risk.
According to manufacturers, TYK Revelation supposedly contains all the ingredients your skin needs to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging. When used correctly, TYK Revelation will supposedly use the power of peptides, antioxidants, and vitamins to restore and repair sun damaged skin while simultaneously increasing the production of collagen for more visible results.
However, is TYK Revelation a quality alternative to Botox? Or is it nothing more than a cheap knock-off? Only an in-depth look at its ingredients will determine its success.

When we hear the word “alternative to Botox” we typically envision a product that relies on Argireline, a unique peptide known for its abilities to relax facial muscles, offering similar results to Botox (which freezes muscles for the same wrinkle-fighting effect). Oddly enough, TYK Revelation doesn’t offer this amazing peptide, but instead relies on a combination of three difference peptides to supposedly compensate for the lack. Although We are pleased that TYK Revelation utilizes the power of Palmitoyl Pentapeptide 3 (AKA Matrixyl) to increase collagen stores, this peptide lacks the strength and effectiveness of Botox.
Additionally, we don’t actually see their “main ingredients” until the bottom of their ingredient list, so we know that it’s concentrations may be too low to be effective. All the ingredients listed prior to Matrixyl are considered fillers and preservatives, some of which may actually damage your skin and accelerate the aging process rather than moisturizing or smoothing wrinkles.
Overall Impression of TYK Revelation:
As with so many other products on the market, there are pros and cons to TYK Revelation. On one hand, this product offers a good selection of peptides, antioxidants, and moisturizers to keep your skin looking healthy. On the other hand, these ingredients are in low concentrations and may be countered by the use of preservatives and fillers. Although TYK is definitely safer to use than Botox, this product does not compare to the injection in effectiveness, and many consumers report being unsatisfied with their results. For its current retail price, TYK offers a few good ingredients that may be able to help, but overall, we find that it might not be worth the investment.
