A topical treatment discovered by two Florida cosmetic surgeons, Gabamed is manufactured by Palm Beach Medical Cosmetics.
Touting itself as “an alternative to Botox,” Gabamed is a less evasive topical delivery, free of dangerous toxins.
Fine lines and wrinkles will appear to “vanish.”
Gabamed works by “relaxing your wrinkles and not paralyzing them” for temporary effects that last up to 10 hours.
How? It relies upon GABA (gamma amino-butyric acid) to get the job done.
But will Gabamed really “reduce wrinkle depth by 75%”?
There are hundreds of products out there offering GABA after all, and many use it synergistically with other potent wrinkle-fighting agents.
Price: $139.00
Gabamed Product Details:
Information for Gabamed is scanty, and the website does not offer a full ingredient list.
The only ingredient Gabamed features is GABA which purportedly relaxes facial nerves, fills lines and creases, inproves collagen production and soothes irritation.
Unfortunately GABA is not as effective as some ingredients like argireline, matrixyl, syncoll, and DMAE–certainly not enough to reduce wrinkles by 75% as they claim.
Our Overall Impression of Gabamed:
Gabamed offers their product for “free,” but you’ll have to sign up for a monthly autoship program to try it–which will ultimately set you back $139 a month!
And always beware of these programs because they can be tricky to get out of!
Gabamed does offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, and a toll-free customer service number for questions, concerns and returns.
Bottom line though, we wouldn’t recommend using Gabamed simply because of its lack of ingredient power–and you can certainly expect to be disappointed if you’re counting on results as dramatic as you’ll gain with Botox treatments!
