Elite HGF Youth Elixir is a serum designed to make the skin look younger by utilizing the human growth factor – or more specifically, the peptides derived from them. This product claims to restore lost thymic factors in the skin; making the skin look more youthful and reducing the signs of aging.
While it is currently undetermined whether or not this product does affect the skin on the thymic level; we do know that peptides are effective at stimulating collagen growth. Collagen is one of the building blocks of skin. We are interested in seeing if this serum contains enough active ingredients to deliver the youth it promises.
Product Details
There only six ingredients in Elite HGF Youth Elixir. Out of those only two are active: Hyaluronic Acid and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2.
Hyaluronic Acid is a safe ingredient that acts as an effective moisturizer. It also indirectly stimulates collagen growth by promoting the production of retinol; which then aids in collagen production.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 is a peptide that was supposedly derived from human growth hormone. This ingredient is supposed to account for the loss of thymic factors. The peptide should also improve the structure of skin so that wrinkles and fine lines are less apparent.
The other four ingredients in Elite HGF Youth Elixir are Seaweed Extract, Purified Water, Phenoxyethanol, and Ethylhexylglycerin. The first two ingredients are little more than fillers. The last two ingredients are preservatives. Phenoxyethanol is a potentially harmful preservative. This means that Elite HGF Youth Elixir may cause skin irritation; especially on skin that is sensitive.
Only two of the ingredients in Elite HGF Youth Elixir are good. Hyaluronic Acid will moisturize skin. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 will improve the quality of skin, but peptides are not as effective when they are alone. It would be better if Elite HGF Youth Elixir had at least three peptides.

Overall Impression
We would not recommend this product. It needs to have more beneficial ingredients; the few ingredients it does have are either harmful or not particularly effective. Taking that and lack of customer testimonials into consideration, we don’t think that Elite HGF Youth Elixir is a high-quality eye cream.
