A produce available since 1989, Elemis is a British brand of skin care and wrinkle care products. They use 3 key elements: defined by nature, led by science, and personalized lifestyle prescription. All are free of animal biproducts, mineral oil, alcohol, detergents, silicones, and synthetic perfumes. And like many British companies for a while, their products are not tested on animals. The main product this review focuses on is the Pro Collagen Body Serum Intensive Lift.

The first ingredients we see are a lot of preservatives, and despite their claims of no irritating ingredients, one of the first is propylene glycol. Others farther down include moisturizers, more propylene glycol, more preservatives, and titanium dioxide which is a damaging chemical. This is apparently a cream that is supposed to lift and tighten skin in the body in general. But if you look at the ingredients list, it is not possible for them to actually keep that promise.
Elemis produces a line of bottles that look nice. But the formula is not the same caliber as the bottles. They charge over $100 for a product that has no collagen even if the product name says collagen, and we are not sure where the money is going except to pad the pockets of company CEO’s, because there is nothing in the formula and no bottles that could justify that kind of pricing.
