Based in Montreal, the Clayton Shagal Company has a history of more than 20 years. They claim to have done extensive research on collagen in Germany to produce this product, and apparently found the “purest form ever created for commercial purposes.” It can be found through online retailers, though they claim that it is only sold through the offices of professionals.
Price: $89.50/collagen gel
Product Details:
layton Shagal certainly does not provide a full ingredients list or even key ingredients besides “pure collagen.” And unfortunately, there are no third party online retailers that choose to disclose this information either. This leads to one of two conclusions. First, it could be that Clayton Shagal does not list the ingredients even on the product boxes, which would be worrisome to say the least. For those allergic to certain ingredients, it could be extremely detrimental. The second choice is that the ingredients list is simply too long and full of complex names for somebody to bother to type out. We wouldn’t be particularly surprised by either of these scenarios or a combination of the two: Clayton Shagal choosing not to disclose a formula filled with preservatives that have names that might sound like complicated ingredients.
Overall Impression of Clayton Shagal:
Clayton Shagal provides no accountability and blatantly false claims. We would like to see proof of significant concentrations of proven ingredients such as peptides, collagen, etc. But they provide none of this, nor do they actually provide even any testimonials, most likely because all the emails they’ve received with feedback have been negative. All the possible positives are muddled and disguised in faulty marketing practices, and we would not recommend this product.

I’m over 60, I have used 2 jars of the Collagen Gel Plus over the past year. About 4 months ago, I began to notice a marked improvement in my skin tone, softness, smoothness, and wrinkles around my eyes and on my cheeks. The Gel was originally recommended by my esthetician, who raved about it. I did look at the ingredients and noticed some alchohol, which is drying, but this didn’t seem to affect my overall great satisfaction with the Gel. I intend to continue using it indefinitely.

As I got closer to 50, my face started to get really dry. I had been using other products for years, which worked very well, but weren’t providing me with the right moisture as I got drier. I’ve been using Clayton-shagal collagen & elastic & the intense moisture cream for over a year now. My skin is softer and more hydrated than it’s been in a long time. It is working for me!
