Cellex C Advanced Serum

product image

Part of the general Cellex C line, Cellex C Advanced Serum naturally uses vitamin C as their main ingredient. They provide a website full of information about their product including a full ingredients list and extensive information about vitamin C. However, there are no customer testimonials, meaning they likely don’t have any. It sells through a number of 3rd party distributors, but not actually on its own website, and they provide a minimum 30 day guarantee apparently.

Price: $127.00

Product Details:

Cellex C Advanced Serum includes Water (aqua), Ascorbic Acid (patented Cellex-C complex), Acetyl Tyrosine (patented Cellex-C complex), Zinc Sulfate (patented Cellex-C complex), Glycine (patented Cellex-C complex), Grape Skin Extract (vitis vinifera), Grape Seed Extract (vitis vinifera), Sodium Hyaluronate, Ergothioneine, Bioflavonoids.

We don’t see the need for most of these ingredients considering they serve the same basic purpose. Vitamin C is not a miracle wrinkle fighting ingredient. It is an antioxidant, which can fight future wrinkles by fighting free radicals that may damage the skin. But in and of itself, it does not reduce wrinkles. Green tea and grape skin extract have the same problem, while sodium hyaluronate is largely an effective moisturizer. None of the other ingredients have an application to wrinkle care either.

Overall Impression of Cellex C Advanced Serum:

Like other Cellex C products, Cellex C Advanced Serum lacks basic ingredients that would actually work to actively reduce wrinkles. It is extremely expensive, and it has select few benefits to skin. For this price tag of even half this price tag, we would expect better ingredients such as matrixyl, syncoll, and DMAE to name a few.
