One that “blends technology with classic Italian beauty,” the Borghese line has one point. Southern Italians are known for beautiful olive complexions for the most part. But does this mean they have some magic ingredient? Likely not. Borghese offers both a basic skin care line and a wrinkle care line. And with a name like Borghese, they are trying to portray a vision of luxury. They also claim to use “cutting edge technology” and organic ingredients. Their main and pushed ingredient is one called Fango mud.
Price: $39.00-$96.00
Borghese uses ingredients like Fango Mud, matrixyl, coenzyme Q10, vitamin C, super hydroxy humectant, and natural botanicals.
Some of these ingredients are more common like matrixyl and do actually promote wrinkle reduction. But others like fango mud and hydroxy humectant aren’t seen in anything else for a reason. They don’t have any proven application. The fact that they offer only the description of “natural botanicals” and not a full ingredients list. They can however be found in department stores, which is probably why they don’t provide a full ingredients list.
As far as we can tell, Borghese does not have a 100% money back guarantee. There are no full ingredients lists, and there are no customer testimonials. In short, Borghese offers nothing that would suggest it really works. Ironically enough, they don’t test on animals, but they do use animal bi products. A lot of their practices seem to be contradictory. When all is said and done, we would feel better if they had a money back guarantee and a full ingredients list.
