Artefill

product image

An FDA approved wrinkle filler, Artefill is only meant to be administered by trained professionals. It is injected into the skin to eliminate smile lines and other wrinkles. Wrinkles can come due to all sorts of reasons such as environmental, genetic, etc. Some report seeing a dramatic difference after 6 months with Artefill. The website also provides doctors near you. But prices vary, sometimes in the thousands of dollars per treatment, and injections are definitely not for everyone. It can also come with quite a few side effects.

Product Details:

Artefill is made up of PMMA microspheres. It works and expands over time, and it is regulated by the FDA and doctors, precisely because it is an injection rather than a topical cream. But being FDA approved, you can benefit from the fact that it has been proven to work against wrinkles. This is not to say that natural products have not been, but the FDA has not chosen to approve them for whatever reason. This said, the FDA has been known to take calculated risks in approving certain things in all industries, and many prescriptions often come with quite a few harsh side effects as a rule rather than an exception.

Overall Impresion of Artefill:

Artefill works extremely slowly for an injection, not reaching a noticeable potential until after 6 months. There are actually viable wrinkle creams and serums that work faster than that, and they are certainly more affordable. In addition, those creams and serums don’t come with some of the side effects or doctors visits that Artefill does. Artefill’s website is very informative, but the product does not seem to hold up to the same standards as some others.
