Sirtuin activators have been connected scientifically not only to aging, but also to degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and other diseases like Type 2 diabetes. It is blocked by nicontinamide, but nicotinamide can be neutralized by elements like reservatrol.

Ingredients are listed from highest concentration to lowest concentration. Therefore, Aloette has high concentrations of aloe vera, sorbitol, preservatives, fillers, propylene glycol, etc. Aloe vera is the only one of worth, and it works only to soothe the skin. Farther down, they have a little bit of Ceramide 2, which can have a positive impact on wrinkles, but otherwise, there are actually no wrinkle fighting ingredients whatsoever, not even low on the list.

With only one active ingredient relatively far down on the list, Aloette Age Defiance provides no promise for wrinkle fighting components. The idea of sirtuin activators is really a good one. But unfortunately, Aloette Age Defiance doesn’t have any standard wrinkle fighting ingredients or less conventional ingredients such as reservatrol that would specifically block the elements that would suppress sirtuin activators.
