“Age spots fade away as you sleep.” Actifade claims to diminish discolorations, giving you a brighter and more youthful appearance. They show pictures of hands that have a significant decrease in age spots and liver spots, and they have a range of products such as a precision youth complex, an opulent youth complex, and a radiant youth complex. However, their products are available only at Walgreens and CVS pharmacies for the most part. They provide a “risk free trial” on most, which essentially means they give you 30 days to return the product for a refund minus shipping and handling and sometimes a restocking fee. But most customers forget to return products within that short timeline.

If this is any indication of the rest of their products, it is in a sorry state. Shea butter is a great moisturizer, but has no application to wrinkle care, and propylene glycol is actually a harsh chemical that can cause redness and other damage to the skin. There are really no antioxidants, no peptides, no DMAE, no ingredients that would contribute to youthful skin.

Overall Impression of Actifade

Actifade does not even give the illusion of a successful product once you look at the ingredients list. But this is no surprise, being that we have been conditioned to think that an anti wrinkle product is supposed to be nothing more than a moisturizer. One company even put out a commercial specifically saying that they beat the $100 and so on creams as a moisturizer, even though their name specifically states that it is an anti aging product. However, there are some companies who have come out with products that have something more, and we would suggest checking them out instead.
